RE: Important Notice: Cybersecurity Incident – Potential Exposure of Personal Data

On or around 19 February 2026, HS Finance & Credit Co Ltd ("HS Finance") experienced a cybersecurity incident in which an unauthorised party gained access to our servers through a compromised remote access device and deployed cyberattack (the “Incident”).

The servers affected held customer personal data, which may include names, HKID numbers, passport numbers, dates of birth, and addresses.

Upon detection, our IT personnel took immediate action to contain the attack, isolate the affected systems and restored the full back-up.  Upon forensic review of activity logs across all affected systems, there is no evidence that any personal data was accessed, copied, or exfiltrated during the Incident. The Company's longstanding commitment to cybersecurity and data privacy contributed to the early detection of the Incident and the prompt containment of its impact.

We have reported the Incident to the Hong Kong Police and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, both of whom are aware of the matter.

Please remain vigilant against unsolicited calls, emails, or messages. Please contact us directly to verify the identity of any person purporting to represent HS Finance if you have any doubt.
